Prek4 - Literacy
Journaling Instructions-
After your child listens to the book read aloud, make sure he/she comprehends what is being read by always pausing and asking why, when, how, who, and what questions!! After you comprehend and discuss the book, give your child a literacy journal that has a prompt sentence or question. Explain to them that they will have to draw a picture and write underneath the line at the bottom of the page. The sentence will be the letters that they sound out!! An example of this is “If I went on an Easter Hunt, I would…”.
